Join the Food Brigade to help the hungry and food insecure in our area!

Calvary UMC is proud to be headquarters for this incredible effort! Distribution takes place each Wednesday from 3 pm – 6:30 pm in the Calvary parking lot at 185 West Madison Avenue, Dumont (corner of Cooper Street).

Volunteers provide food, in the form of both prepared meals and fresh and packaged foods, to local families and individuals dealing with hunger and food insecurity. Volunteers assist with food pickup, transport, preparation, distribution, and delivery. An example of a typical distribution operation: families in need drive through our staging area, where volunteers load their cars with food boxes. Simultaneously, food boxes are loaded into the vehicles of volunteers who then deliver the food directly to those who are unable to travel to our distribution points, as well as to other local pantries and food relief organizations.

Please access the volunteer registration form via this link: Volunteer with The Food Brigade Inc. and thanks for your willingness to join the fight against food insecurity.  Visit the “Feeding Ministries” page of this website to read more about the Food Brigade.
